The base is equipped with metal legs finished with a black powder coating. The advantages of powder coating are wear resistance, rust resistance, and easy maintenance. The seat is made of microfiber PU, a high-quality variant of artificial leather. This type of PU is highly durable, stronger than standard PU, and more breathable. It is often hardly distinguishable from real leather, easy to maintain, more environmentally and animal friendly, and retains its color and shape.
The metal legs can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth; do not use aggressive cleaning agents in order to protect the finish. The PU upholstery is easy to maintain by regularly wiping it with a soft, slightly damp cloth. For stains, you may use a mild soapy solution, but avoid abrasive products and strong chemicals to prevent cracks or discoloration.
