This desk is made of MDF, a wood fiberboard pressed together with resin under high pressure. The MDF is finished with a paper decor: printed, resin-impregnated paper bonded under high pressure. This gives the desk a decorative appearance while keeping the surface lightweight and easy to clean. However, the material is more sensitive to scratches, impacts, and especially moisture compared to, for example, solid wood or melamine.
This desk with an MDF structure and white decorative finish is easy to maintain by regularly wiping it with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage the decorative layer. Make sure no water or moisture remains on the surfaces, as MDF is sensitive to it. For stubborn stains, you can use a mild soapy solution, followed by drying with a soft cloth. This way, the desk stays neat and retains its sleek appearance.
