The Elvas chair features a stable frame constructed from a tubular structure, fully upholstered in the same fabric as the seat and backrest. This construction provides a solid base and makes the chair suitable for daily use. Thanks to its design, the chair is stackable, making it practical for compact or flexible spaces.The upholstery is produced by OTE, a manufacturer that develops fabrics made from recycled polyester (derived from PET bottles), contributing to sustainability and the reduction of plastic waste. These fabrics are safe and healthy: OEKO-TEX® certified, free from harmful substances, and compliant with European REACH chemical regulations. They are also BSCI registered, meaning the manufacturer meets requirements regarding working conditions, safety, fair wages, prohibition of child labour and environmental protection.
The OTE fabric upholstery can be cleaned with a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth. Avoid excessive moisture and do not use aggressive cleaners or solvents. For stains, it is recommended to clean them immediately with a mild, non-abrasive cleaning product. The fully upholstered frame can be maintained in the same way. Abrasive products or strong chemical agents should be avoided to preserve the fabric quality and colour fastness.
